KC 3D

Available in 250, 1000 and 4000 grams.

This powder first had the name KC Crackelee, but to prevent misunderstandings and exchange with the other crackelee the name has been changed. This KC Crackelee 3D is as the name suggests for objects and not for paintings. This has to do with the method of cracking.

Instructions:

  • Mix the powder with some light KeraCoat to a thick stiff mass. (mix well)
The mass must become a kind of pizza dough that hangs a bit.
  • Apply a layer of KeraCoat with the brush on the surface where the KC Crackelee 3D should come. Use a dark color for this! This makes the crack cracks better.
  • Apply the mass of KeraCoat and KC Crackelee 3D powder with a palette knife or with the fingers in the right place.
  • Let it dry ...

The thick layer will crack when drying. This effect is enhanced by drying with heat (hair dryer or heating) and / or by sprinkling it with water.

By sprinkling it with KC Bister (liquid), the cracks are additionally accentuated.
